Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (PJSC), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emarat Petroleum to develop and deploy specialized Internet of Things (IoT) solutions across Emarat’s network of gas stations. The MoU was signed between Eng. Marwan Bin Haidar, Vice Chairman – Digital & Group CEO of Digital DEWA and H.E. Ali Khalifa Al Shamsi, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Petroleum Company PJSC (Emarat) on the sidelines of GITEX Global 2025, which runs from 13–17 October at Dubai World Trade Centre.

By enabling IoT technology, we are not only improving operational performance but also enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting the UAE’s wider sustainability and smart city goals,” said Eng. Under the MoU, Moro will provide a comprehensive suite of IoT services designed to modernize Emarat’s filling stations, retail areas, and service booths. The collaboration aims to integrate smart systems that optimize equipment monitoring, energy management, and real-time data analytics, creating a more connected service environment for the customers.
