Moro Hub and Intelligent Process Solutions (IPS) Sign Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Digital Transformation in Electrical Utilities

Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (PJSC), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Intelligent Process Solutions (IPS), the most comprehensive and specialized software copmany for the rapid digital transformation of electrical power grids which develop and deliver comprehensive enterprise tools for asset and network data management, supported by advanced analytics and investment planning.

The agreement was signed between Mohammed Almalik, Chief Information Security Officer of Moro Hub and Michael Schneider, Chief Executive Officer of IPS at Middle East Energy, Dubai 2025, that ran at Dubai World Trade Centre recently, solidifying a strategic partnership aimed at revolutionizing software solutions for the electrical utilities sector.

This partnership represents a significant milestone for both organizations as they join forces to deliver innovative AI-driven solutions tailored for the energy sector. By combining IPS’ advanced software tools with Moro Hub’s domain expertise, the collaboration is set to empower utility providers to boost operational efficiency, enhance data utilization, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The UAE energy market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 14% over the next five years. The growth is primarily driven by the industrial energy management systems segment, which was the largest revenue generator in 2024. Moreover, utility companies are increasingly investing in artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance operational efficiency across the energy sector.

Additionally, strategic partnerships have been identified as a key driver for improving service provision efficiency. Research indicates that top-performing companies are 4.2 times more likely to utilize managed services partnerships for strategic advantage, leading to a 43-percentage-point performance premium over those focusing solely on cost savings.
